Short description of Villa Ana-Marija:

In a small place Ribarica (5 km from Karlobag) underneath the great mountain of Velebit you can spend a peaceful & relaxing vacations in many apartment houses one of which is Apartmani Ana-Marija.
It consists of 5 apartments. All apartments are standardly equiped (TV/SAT, Wi-Fi internet, kitchen with fridge+freezer and oven, dish, towels, sheets, blankets...), have parking spaces and each has his own terrace with beautiful look on the Adriatic and the island of Pag. Also, apartments on the 1st floor (ap.1, ap.2 & ap.3) and small apartment ap.4 have air-conditioners while in the apartment ap.5 on the ground floor it's not so hot, so it's not needed.
The house has 2 washing machines. One is in apartment ap.5 and the other, which can be used by all other apartments, is under the stairs.

Groceries & shopping:

There is one small grocery shop in Ribarica, one bakery kiosk and three restaurants.
For any bigger shopping you can go in Karlobag where there are more and bigger grocery shops, some butcher's shops and so on.
The closest big shopping malls are in closest big cities: Zadar, which is some 100 km on south from Ribarica, or Rijeka, which is some 120 km on north from Ribarica.

Beach & sea:

The beach in Ribarica, as you can see on some pictures, is somewhere rocky, somewhere more or less arranged (with concrete) and somewhere pebbly.
You can take a boat and go on island Pag (as you can see on one of our pictures) in search of your own private beach, if you want. Most of east side of island Pag is uninhabited because of strong winds during the autumn, winter and spring, so you won't have any problems finding your own private place there.
The Adriatic is most clearest in this part of it's coast, beneath mountain of Velebit, because there are very little full-year inhabitants, there is no heavy industry of any kind (in fact, no industry at all), and on many places across the coast beneath Velebit there are underground springs (sources) of sweet (river) water. So don't be surprised if on some places water is very cold and not so salty. But in front of our house, where most of our guests are bathing, water is normally warm and pleasent for bathing.
Temperature of the Adriatic sea in Karlobag area is somewhere between 20 and 26 degrees of Celsius in July, August and September, between 17 and 21 in June and October, between 14 and 18 in May and November, and between 9 and 15 in the rest of the year.
